Some books just change the course of your life completely. They take you on a journey of self discovery and make you rethink your value system completely! I would like to share some of these books with you.
Going Organic – Bob FlowerdewThe good gardener’s guide to solving the problems. I love the images in this book. Very helpful book on gardening as a whole and some great tips on how to deal with little pests the natural way.

Rawlicious – Peter and Beryn DanielRecipes for radiant health Chocolate moose, awesome desserts, raw pizzas, nut butters and loads of yummy stuff! I first saw this book at my local library and later decided I just had to have a copy.
Everyday Raw – Matthew KennyThis book has lovely images of decadent raw treats. Raw version of mashed potato, portobello steaks, eggplant bacon, fudge brownie, mango wraps, cherry chip ice cream and loads more.
Grow your own drugs – James WongWhat an awesome book. Shows you how to make your own cough syrup, perfume, face and body cream, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, medicines for kids ailments and so much more! Medicine straight from your garden! No doctor bills here.
Practical Self Sufficiency – Dick & James StrawbridgeThe complete guide to sustainable living Stunning book! Teaches you how to create your own compost toilet, bake your own bread, build your own earth oven, learn to make jam, beer, cheese and just so much more! What are you reading at the moment? Thanks for sharing these with us! I really want to read the dick strawbridge one (doesn’t he have a great moustache! Also, doesn’t Bob Flowerdew have a great plait!) but it’s too heavy to carry home from the library! I love the James Wong books, I own the first one and got the 2nd one from the library!
My fave gardening books are The Edible Garden and The Thrifty Garden both by Alys Fowler, they’re full of great, pretty ideas for growing fruit, veg and flowers!
