This is a list of farms that you can order directly from. Or companies that collect from the farms and deliver to your doorstep. We fondly call this a veggie box. Some of these farms offer a service of you picking your own vegetables, as well as farmers markets in and around South Africa.

Green Butler services all areas of Gauteng within a 48 hour delivery window.

The Veg Box

KwaZulu Natal. The Veg Box deliver seasonal farm veg, meat, cheese, eggs, preserves and more, straight to your door. The serve the Pietermaritzburg, Hilton, Howick, Balgowan, Curry’s Post, Rosetta, Nottingham road and Mooi River areas. Place orders on Tuesdays for delivery same week.

Cape Food Farm

Organic veggies delivered to all the surrounding towns – Hermanus, Stanford, Gansbaai, Franskraal, Pearly Beach, Napier, Bredasdorp, Struisbaai and L’Agulhas. Veg is freshly harvested and packed, place order by 10am the previous day.

Edible Beyond Groceries

Edible Beyond Groceries delivers to the following suburbs in the Cape Town City Bowl and specific areas of the Southern Suburbs (street codes 8001, 7925, 7806, 7708, 7700, 7800, 7945, 7700). They do not deliver to the CBD or Waterfront.

Oranjezicht City Farm

Pick-your-own harvests on Wednesday afternoons at the Oranjezicht Farm in Cape Town. Or you can purchase fresh produce at the OZCF market at Granger Bay at the V&A Waterfront on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Wild Organics

Each week, they source high quality, organically farmed produce, and hand pack a bag of the best of what’s in season which they deliver each Wednesday to a convenient collection point, or even to your home or office, in or around Cape Town.
